Traffic Police requires half-day seminar to traffic violators

 
PAGADIAN CITY (Nov. 8, 2014) – At least 20 participants per session attended the half day seminar after they were caught committing violation of traffic rules and regulations along the city streets of this city, City Police Official said.  

The Pagadian City Police Traffic Section had required to all arrested violators of City Ordinance on Traffic Rules and Regulations including those Motorized Tricycle Drivers and Operators who will applying or to renew their Franchise.

Supt. Glenn Dulawan, Pagadian City Police Chief said the traffic violators needs additional information and education on the City Ordinance implemented by the Traffic Enforcers especially to those franchise holders for motorized tricycles as the basic public utility vehicle in this city.



The seminar spearheaded by the traffic personnel headed by Police Inspector Harry Ratunil Velez will be held at the Traffic Office, Pagadian City Police Building every Friday at 1:00 PM, Dulawan said.

Mostly arrested were violating the City Ordinance No. 2014-344, “an ordinance requiring the installation of mufflers and silencers on vehicle exhaust system.”


The local police have confiscated a total of 258 “unauthorized mufflers” in its campaign against noisy motorcycles during the past two months (August-September) in this city. (JC-MPF News)
